Drama Club/ITS Meeting date change
Due to NHS induction rehearsal, we have decided to move our Drama Club/ITS Meeting from Wed. Apr 23rd to Thurs, Apr. 24th. The meeting will be held in the theatre room after school.

Please get your ITS points updated by Friday, April 18th. You can update on the points record you have already. There is a link in the post below that takes you to the Points Chart. You should track ITS points if you have been involved in any production this year. If you do not have a Points Record sheet already saved in your Google Docs account, come by and see Mrs. Howe or Mrs. Leffel for the link.
Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, April 23rd. Please plan to attend as we will be providing information about banquet, handing out ITS Officer packets (if you are interested in running for officer next year), voting for end of year awards and much more.
Dallas Summer Musicals HS Musical Theatre Awards show is on Wednesday, April 30th. If you have ordered a ticket for the show, you will be released from class at 3:00 that day to come to the theatre room to eat and get ready for the show. We will leave on the bus at 4:00. We will be providing further information about dinner for the event and how much money you will need to bring in to cover the cost of your dinner.

Our public performance of our one act play, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, will take place on Friday, April 4th at 7:00 in the evening. Come out and see this wonderful performance!
Tickets are $3 and will be available at the door.
Nominations for the Dallas Summer Musical HS Musical Theatre Awards came out today. Our production of Peter Pan has been nominated for the following awards:

Order forms for the Dallas Summer Musicals HS Musical Theatre Awards Show have gone out. Your order form and money is due back to Mrs. Howe or Mrs. Leffel no later than Monday, March 31st. THe show is April 30th.
It’s time to add up all of your ITS points for the work you have done on shows. If you have an ITS Points sheet already, please update it with your points for this year so Mrs. Leffel and I can go through it and approve your hours. If you do not have a points sheet yet, please see Mrs. Howe or Mrs. Leffel to get the link you will need to get a new ITS Points Sheet started. Thank you!
The cast list for our 2013-14 OAP has been posted on the Call board page. 1st rehearsal is Monday, Jan 13 from 4:15-6:00pm. Thank you to everyone who auditioned, you truly made this a challenging show to cast. You all brought in great ideas and great characters and you should be very proud of the work you did throughout the audition process. I look forward to seeing you all again at our next set of auditions.
The list for OAP 2nd call backs has been posted on the Call board page. If your name is on the list, we will meet in the theatre at 4:15pm tomorrow, Jan. 9th. We will be doing some improvisational work and possibly more readings from the script.
