Come on out to Lebanon Trail High School Thursday evening! The cast and crew of "By The Bog of Cats" will compete in the UIL OAP Bi-District Competition around 8pm!

Wakeland HS will be hosting the District 13-5A UIL One Act Play contest tomorrow, 3/16. All shows are open to the public and are free of charge. You may come directly to the auditorium on the North Side of the building and enter through the glass doors to see the shows – no need to check in at the front office. Please be aware that patrons will not be seated after a show begins, so arrive early if necessary. Shows are running back to back, and therefore, specific start times cannot be provided.
The first show starts at 10:00am, The performance order is as follows:
1 Heritage HS – “Big Love”
2. Independence HS – “Last of the Boys”
3. Reedy HS – “The Libation Bearers”
4. Frisco HS – “Anatomies”
After the first 4 shows, we will take a 45 lunch break and then begin the second 4 shows.
5. Centennial HS – “The Marriage of Bette and Boo”
6. Liberty HS – “And The Dance Real Slow in Jackson”
7. Wakeland HS – “By the Bog of Cats”
8. Lone Star HS – “The Glass Menagerie”
Awards and critiques will follow once the judges have completed their paperwork.

Wakeland HS will be hosting this year’s District Competition on March 16. Wakeland Theatre Booster Club will be providing concessions for the participating school’s visiting our campus that day. We are in need of concession volunteers to work 2 hour shifts throughout the day.
We hope you can join us to cheer on our Wolverine Theatre, as well as help with this booster club fundraiser!

In order to save time at the end of the year please update your International Thespian Society Points Sheets at this time. Points must be entered by March 2nd, 2017.
If you do not yet have a points sheet, follow these instructions:
You will use the same points sheet for your entire WHS career, so be sure to keep it active in your Google Drive and update it following each production you are a part of. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Leffel or Mrs. Howe.
Reminder: If you placed an order for your Wolverine to eat between shows tomorrow, they will be receiving Chick Fil A after the matinee performance.
If you have not ordered your DVD, Sunday is the last day to submit the order form and payment.
